Amplitude Studios have outdone themselves with their take on the (clearly) Civilization inspired 4x wonder that is Endless Legend. The typical approach to this genre is turned on its head with an interesting art style, unique gameplay that flirts with the framework of both a strategy game and an RPG, as well as presentation that refuses to hold your hand, yet has you pining for just one more turn. However, if you are looking for the ideal experience with this or any other 4x game, the single player mode is quite flawed. That’s my way of telling you to get friends.
